Dr. Timothy "TJ" Leonard is a seasoned educator from Southbury, CT. He is an Assistant Professor of academic literacy and linguistics at the Borough of Manhattan Community College in
Manhattan. Dr. Timothy Leonard obtained his master's in arts in teaching and
learning from Sacred Heart University in 2000, as well as an EdD degree from
West Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT.
Timothy Leonard was recently promoted to the rank of Associate Professor at Borough of Manhattan Community College. In order to be promoted, Leonard published several research articles about the
perceptions of community college students on their educational experiences,
ability to achieve, and their understanding of their own successes.
